Sick of being told by large corporations and celebrities that guns are evil?  So is Adams Arms.  They’re so sick of it, in fact, that they’ve decided to give out free “scary gun magazines” to prove their point.

Here’s what got their goat.

On Monday night, Toms Shoes founder Blake Mycoskie went on the Tonight Show to announce his company would donate $5 million to groups working to end gun violence.

In case you thought it was a media ploy to sell more shoes… you were probably right.  He’s encouraging people to go to the company website to have a physical postcard sent on their behalf to members of Congress about “gun violence”.

And, of course, buy some shoes while you’re there.

Adams Arms responded by announcing their Toms Buyback Program.

They are offering one fully-functional, NOT 50 state legal freedom stick (in the form of a 30-round magazine) for every pair of Toms shoes sent to them before January 1, 2019.

Jens Krogh, the VP of Sales and Marketing for Adams Arms, said the company believes in more freedom for Americans… not less.

“Originally we were going to burn the shoes, but decided that’s no way to treat something that could be used again by homeless veterans,” he said.

Company Owners: “We Just Wanted To Save Police Lives”

“But then we thought to ourselves… we should at least make the shoes less hippie.  So we’re going to alter them with a pro Second Amendment message and THEN donate them to several worthy causes for veterans and impoverished people living in oppressive countries where they do not have the freedoms we cherish.”

Here’s how it works.  Send Adams Arms your Toms shoes:

It’s worth pointing out that the organizations in line to get money from Toms are Black & Brown Gun Violence Prevention Consortium, Everytown for Gun Safety, Faith in Action, Giffords, Livefree, March for Our Lives and Moms Demand Action.
