CNN’s Don Lemon seemingly threatens America: ‘We’re gonna have to blow up the entire system’

Many liberal Democrats are beside themselves thinking about the fact that President Trump is going to nominate someone to the now vacant Supreme Court seat.

CNN anchor Don Lemon just fell in line with the people saying ridiculous and outrageous things as they are throwing their temper tantrums about the situation.

On Monday, September 21st, in an interview with Chris Cuomo, CNN anchor Don Lemon made a very bold statement that “We’re gonna have to blow up the entire system.”

The system that Lemon is referring to, is the system of democracy. The democracy that is clearly not going the way he thinks it should, so in his perfect world, it should all just be scrapped and restarted.

In the clip below, you can see for yourself, that Lemon is not in the slightest bit kidding, and even presses the point when Cuomo disagrees.

LEMON: We’re gonna have to blow up the entire system, and you know what we’re gonna have to do…

CUOMO: I don’t know about that. You’re just going to have to vote.

LEMON: Yes, and you know what we’re gonna have to do…? Honestly… From what your closing argument is…? You’re going to have to get rid of the Electoral College. Because the people…

CUOMO: I don’t see it.

LEMON: Because the minority in this country decides who the judges are and they decide who the president is. Is that fair?

CUOMO: You need a constitutional amendment to do that.

LEMON: And if Joe Biden wins, Democrats can stack the [Supreme] Court and they can do that amendment and they can get it passed.

CUOMO: Well, you need two-thirds vote in the Congress and three quarters of the state legislatures.

LEMON: They may be able to do that.

CUOMO: Maybe.

In the clip, you can clearly see by Lemon’s face, tone, and comments, that he is nothing less than furious that the sitting President of the United States is performing his constitutional duty to replace a Supreme Court Justice.

One can just picture Lemon jumping up and down yelling, and then crawling into a fetal position, because he wants to change the rules, he wants to strip the minority of all their rights, and that is just not going to happen.

CNN is known for openly calling for violence, and then turning a blind eye when anyone they deem on their side steps out of line.

It will remain to be see how far off the handle Lemon, and the rest of the left wing Democrats will fly, once President Trump nominates a Justice to replace Justice Ginsburg.

Here is the story Law Enforcement Today brought you on the threats made by Pelosi if she does not get her way, and the response from President Trump.

WASHINGTON D.C. – Since the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has been making sly but threatening comments about what would happen if President Trump nominates someone to the Supreme Court to fill the current open seat. One of the main things she has been tossing around, is impeachment.

On Monday, September 21st, President Donald Trump spoke about Pelosi’s refusal to rule out impeachment, in order to stop him from nominating a replacement to the Supreme Court.

During his rally in Ohio, when speaking about this, President Trump said:

“Go ahead. I want them to do that … I’m the only guy in the world that could get impeached for trying to fill a seat on the Supreme Court.”

According to Breitbart, in an interview with New York Times journalist Kara Swisher released on Monday, Pelosi said she had the power to impeach Trump again.

Pelosi said:

“Well, we can impeach him every day of the week for anything he does.”

On Sunday Pelosi was also interviewed by ABC News host George Stephanopoulos, where she was asked if she would rule out impeachment after she said that everything was on the table to stop Trump’s Supreme Court choice from being confirmed.

Pelosi replied

“We have our options. We have arrows in our quiver that I’m not about to discuss right now, but the fact is we have a big challenge in our country.”

The ever outspoken Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) also chimed in with her two cents and made similar comments in a press conference on Sunday, September 20th, with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY).

She said:

“I believe that also we must consider, again all of the tools available in our disposal and that all of these options should be entertained and on the table.”

During his rally, President Trump boasted about the fact that he will be able to nominate yet another person to the Supreme Court.

Trump said:

“Think of that. Three. … A lot of presidents get none. We’ve had three.”

He continued:

“It’s blowing their minds.”

Trump told his supporters what he thought would happen if Biden wins the upcoming election.

Trump said:

“If Joe Biden and the Democrats take power, they will pack the Supreme Court with far-left radicals who will unilaterally transform American society far beyond recognition.”

He continued:

“They will mutilate the law, disfigure the constitution, and impose a socialist vision from the bench that could never pass at the ballot box.”

Here is more on Pelosi’s interview with George Stephanopoulos.

In a recent appearance on ABC’s “This Week,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi paid tribute to the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg while refusing to take another impeachment inquiry off the table in order to block President Donald Trump’s upcoming nominee to the Supreme Court.

When ABC News Chief Anchor George Steohanopoulos raised the possibility of the Democratic-controlled House moving to impeach Trump or Attorney General William Barr to stop the Senate from voting during a “lame-duck” session, Pelos said:

“We have our options. We have arrows in our quiver that I’m not about to discuss right now, but the fact is we have a big challenge in our country.

Members of Congress take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. We have a responsibility to meet the needs of the American people.”

She added:

“So, right now, our mail goal and I think Ruth Bader Ginsburg would want that to be, would be to protect the integrity of the election as we protect the American people from the coronavirus. So, again, when people say, ‘What can I do?’ You can vote. You can get out and vote and you can do so as soon as possible.”

At a campaign rally in North Carolina, Trump pledged to nominate a woman, saying that he plans to nominate Ginsburg’s replacement within the next week.

During her appearance, Pelosi said that Democrats would not use a continuing resolution to keep the government open before a potential shutdown on October 1st as leverage to try and slow down the impending nomination. She said to Stephanopoulos:

“None of us has any interest in shutting down government. That has such a harmful and painful impact on so many people in our country. So, I would hope that we can just proceed with that.”

She added:

“We’re not going to be shutting down government. I do hope, though, that the focus on health care and what it means in terms of the courts will have public opinion be of such magnitude that the Republicans will finally, finally address the coronavirus crisis.”

Stephanopoulos questioned Pelosi about Democrats calling to expand the number of seats on the court if the Senate confirms Trump’s nominee and former Vice President Joe Biden is ultimately elected. She responded by saying:

“Let’s just win the election.”

Just hours after Ginsburg’s passing was announced, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) vowed that a Trump nominee to the Supreme Court to fill her vacancy will “received a vote” on the “floor of the U.S. Senate.”

Pelosi was pressed again by Stephanopoulos on whether she would employ impeachment tactics, to which she said:

“The Constitution requires that Congress use every arrow in our quiver.”

The White House slammed Pelosi’s suggestion as a “bizarre and dangerous” power grab. White House Deputy Press Secretary Brian Morgenstern told Fox News:

“The Speaker threatened to impeach the President, again for simply fulfilling his constitutional obligation.”

He added:

“Numerous Democrats are threatening to pack the court and say things like, ‘nothing is off the table.’ These are bizarre and dangerous power grabs by Democrats who will stop at nothing to erode the Constitution and enact their radical agenda.”

Morgenstern said:

“President Trump will fulfill his constitutional duty to protect our God given rights and do his part to fill the seat.”

Pelosi said to Stephanopoulos:

“This is about the people. It’s about their health, their economic well being, the health of our democracy. We have a great deal at stake here.”
