WASHINGTON, DC- Democrats such as Adam Schiff, who appears to have some type of mental disorder (OCD?) about Russia are claiming it is a “Russian disinformation campaign” behind the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop.
Russians apparently signed the computer into the repair shop, photoshopped pictures and videos of Hunter Biden smoking crack, were able to gain access to private text messages, and made up the information suggesting Joe Biden’s ties to Ukraine and China.
Because clearly the Russians would prefer to keep dealing with President Trump as opposed to a struggling 78-year-old. That of course is absurd.
Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe is debunking those claims, telling Fox Business on Monday that the information revealed on Hunter Biden’s laptop as revealed by the New York Post last week “is not part of some Russian disinformation campaign.”
The New York Post said while appearing on “Mornings with Maria” on the Fox Business Channel, Ratcliffe told host Maria Bartiromo that Schiff’s allegations were incorrect, where Schiff had alleged that emails showing Joe Biden knew about Hunter’s business dealings in Ukraine were a “smear created by Moscow.”
“Hunter Biden’s laptop is not part of some Russian disinformation campaign,” Ratcliffe said.
“Let me be clear: The intelligence community doesn’t believe that because there is no intelligence that supports that. And we have shared no intelligence with Adam Schiff or any member of Congress,” he added. That’s really too bad because Schiff could use all the intelligence he can get.
Ratcliffe then led into Schiff, who makes Nancy Pelosi seem sane.
“It’s funny that some of the people who complain the most about intelligence being politicized are the ones politicizing the intelligence,” the DNI director said. “Unfortunately, it is Adam Schiff who said the intelligence community believes the Hunter Biden laptop and emails on it are part of a Russian disinformation campaign.”
The Post reported last week that an email contained among many in Biden’s laptop indicated that Hunter Biden had introduced his father, then vice president under Obama, to a top executive at Burisma Holdings, a corrupt Ukrainian natural gas company whose board Hunter Biden sat on, despite possessing zero experience in the industry.
The meeting allegedly took place about a year before the Biden called for a prosecutor who was investigating Burisma to be removed.
Fox News reported that according to the emails, Vadym Pozharskyi, who was an adviser to the board of Burisma, thanked Hunter Biden for the “opportunity” to meet his father in an email dated April 17, 2015.
Biden has insisted that he had no knowledge of Hunter Biden’s activities with regard to Burisma, which this email would tend to contradict.
Schiff, appearing on CNN (of course), said:
“We know that this whole smear on Joe Biden comes from the Kremlin. That’s been clear for well over a year now that they’ve been pushing this false narrative about this vice president and his son.”
National Review said Ratcliffe indicated that Hunter Biden’s laptop is “in the jurisdiction of the FBI” and added that the Bureau’s investigation “is not centered around Russian disinformation and the intelligence community is not playing any role with respect to that.”
Ratcliffe also continued saying that he believed it was inappropriate for politicians to attempt to “leverage the intelligence community for a political narrative that’s not true.”

“In this case, Adam Schiff saying this is part of a disinformation campaign and that the intelligence community has assessed and believes that—that is simply not true,” Ratcliffe said.
“Whether it’s Republicans or Democrats, if they try to leverage the intelligence community for political gain, I won’t allow it.”
A senior intelligence official seemed to back up Ratcliffe’s statement.
“Ratcliffe is 100% correct,” the senior intelligence official told Fox News. “There is no intelligence at this time to support Chairman Schiff’s statement that recent stories on Biden’s foreign business dealings are part of a smart campaign that ‘comes from the Kremlin.’
Numerous foreign adversaries are seeking to influence American politics, policies, and media narratives. They don’t need any help from politicians who spread false information under the guise of intelligence.”
In response to Ratcliffe’s statement that the FBI was looking into the Biden emails, a senior Trump administration official told Fox News that wasn’t the case.
The FBI has refused to confirm or deny the existence of any type of investigation, which is standard practice and procedure.
However, the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee IS investigating Biden’s emails, which revealed that he had introduced his father to the Burisma executive in 2015.
Speaking to Fox News, Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) told Fox News:
“We regularly speak with individuals who email the committee’s whistleblower account to determine whether we can validate their claims.
Although we consider those communications to be confidential, because the individual in this instance spoke with the media about his contact with the committee, we can confirm receipt of his email complaint, have been in contact with the whistleblower, and are in the process of validating the information he provided.”
The email in question read:
“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure.”
The Biden campaign is trying to make the case that because no such meeting ever showed up on his “official schedule,” the meeting never occurred. However, “off the book” meetings are not unusual, so merely denying that such a meeting never was logged on his official schedule really doesn’t mean much. The argument of no meeting is weak at best.
Biden never denied being involved in the firing of the prosecutor who was investigating Burisma, Viktor Shokin. In fact, Biden bragged on camera of being largely responsible for Shokin getting fired.
“I looked at them and said: ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money,’” Biden bragged to the Council on Foreign Relations in 2018, the money being foreign aid to Ukraine in the amount of $1 billion.
“Well, son of a bitch, he got fired,” Biden said.
The laptop belonging to Hunter Biden contained a treasure trove of information, the New York Post reported.
Besides tens of thousands of emails, the computer also contained a video showing Hunter Biden smoking crack while engaged in a sexual act with an unidentified woman, along with other sexually explicit images.
The computer was turned over to the FBI in December of last year, although they apparently never did anything with it.
The owner of the computer repair shop where Biden dropped the computer off to be repaired, and then abandoned it, made a copy of the hard drive after he saw what it contained. The copy was later given to Robert Costello, who is Trump adviser Rudy Giuliani’s attorney.
An attorney for Hunter Biden repeated the Russian actor’s mantra, telling the Post that Giuliani “has been pushing widely discredited conspiracy theories about the Biden family, openly relying on actors tied to Russian intelligence.”
Apparently Russia also obtained a body double to look like Hunter Biden to show him smoking crack and involved in sexual hijinks.
Only liberals would believe such a tall tale.
