Deputy shot, wounded and hospitalized in Harris County Texas. The suspect is on the run and a huge manhunt has begun.
Details are very sparse at the time of this article. Officials stat that the shooting of the Deputy took place Tuesday night around 6pm. The crime scene is located in the 1200 block of Forestburg Drive in Harris County Texas.
The unidentified deputy has been shot and wounded and is currently in Northwest Houston Hospital in unknown condition. However, the sheriff’s office tweeted that the deputy was alert and conscious.
Authorities say the shooting When the deputy was serving a warrant. It is unclear if it was an arrest or search warrant. We also don’t know if the suspect was a person listed on the warrant.

Law Enforcement officers state that after shooting the Deputy the suspect ran from the scene on foot.
There is currently a manhunt underway in the area. The manhunt consists of dozens of law enforcement patrol cars and officers.
Harris County is in the Houston area.
