National media caller appears to threaten Trump supporters, federal troops: ‘Gonna be a lot of bloodshed when they come”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – This weekend saw the tragic shooting of a black Trump supporter in Milwaukee (more on that story below). In the wake of his death, someone called into C-SPAN and said that his death should serve as a warning for other’s who support the current President of the United States.

The caller, who was only identified as John, a Democrat from Wisconsin, said:

“OK. I just want to say to this guy (referring to Trump campaign strategist Boris Epshteyn), this morning a Trump supporter was killed. He was shot and killed in a drive-by in Milwaukee.

I don’t know if you got that news. But the people in Milwaukee are waiting for those troops to come in because they got weapons and there’s gonna be a lot of bloodshed when they come. So that’s all I got to say.”

Epshteyn, who was on the show discussing the Trump campaign, responded in shock.

He said:

“What’s that supposed to mean? Now you have people on your air threatening our lives, is that what it is Jessie (C-SPAN host)?”

The host, ignoring the threat, tried to throw the show to another caller:

“Let’s go to Chris who is calling from Oceanside…”

Epshteyn interrupted him and kept the topic on that call for a a few more seconds, saying:

“You just had a caller who called in and said shooting Trump supporters is right,”

He continued:

“Anybody who is a Democrat or an Independent should listen to what that gentlemen just said and realize where the Democrats are in this country. They are threatening our lives. It is disgusting. It is despicable. And, it is criminal. That sounded like a threat against the President and his campaign. I hope the Secret Service investigates it.”

Obviously the host would have to address it at this point, right? His response:

“Let’s go to Chris who is calling from Oceanside.”

Apparently, there are those on the left who believe violence directed at anyone with whom they disagree with, is a completely acceptable response.

If you disagree, take a look around at all of the violence taking place across this country aimed at people who wave American flags, support law enforcement, or God forbid, admit to having voted for Donald J. Trump.

Case in point:

Bernell Trammell.

MILWAUKEE, WI – Bernell Trammell, 60 years old, was a local business owner and fixture in the Riverwest neighborhood in Milwaukee.  Trammell owned Xpressions Publications and was known to stand out front of his shop holding handmade signs urging people to vote for President Trump.

He was also known to be friendly and approachable, often talking to people about their lives, history, and religion. Wisdom Prometheus Grey, a local artist and friend of Trammell, described him as being selfless.

Which makes what happened on Thursday, July 23rd so shocking.

In broad daylight, just before 1 pm, Bernell Trammell, was shot and killed while standing on the sidewalk, like a dog, and left to die alone.

Earlier this week, friends of Trammell stood around the building where he was killed and shared stories of his life.

All seemed to remember him as a good man, teacher, and a friend to all who may have needed his help.  One woman, Janette, according to MSN, said that she would meet up with Trammell and they would spend time together, walking and talking about philosophy and religion.

The walks were helpful as she had been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and the exercise helped her to strengthen her muscles.  Janette said that Trammell would often tell her to speak up about her beliefs, something he emulated.

She said:

“Now that he’s not here, I have no choice but to use my voice.”

Adebisi Agoro, a blogger in the area, had just spoken with Trammell a few hours before he was shot and killed.

Agoro told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:

“He’s like a Milwaukee character.”

He spoke about the signs that Trammell had in his shop which ranged from supporting Black Lives Matter to President Trump and his reelection bid.

Agoro said:

“He was a positive guy.  I didn’t see him being mean or violent at all toward anybody while he was outside with his signs.  He’d be on his bike.  I’d see him pretty much daily.”

The New York Post reported:

“’I believe that Trump is the sign of the times,’ Trammell said in the clip, adding that Trump’s respect for rapper Kanye West and former aide Omarosa Manigault Newman made him a worthy candidate.”

A woman who did not wish to be identified spoke to a person from Newstalk 1130 recently.  The woman said:

“I had an interaction with him last Saturday across the street from Walmart on Capitol Drive.  It was the second time I had seen him with his Trump sign and I pulled my car over to chat with him.  What a nice, friendly man!  We chatted for several minutes, and I told him I was proud of him and he’s very brave to put himself out there so visibly as a Trump supporter!”

The director of Milwaukee’s Office of Violence Prevention, Reggie Moore, said that he had recently encountered Trammell and a younger man in some type of argument.

Although he is not certain, he believed that the argument was over Trammell’s support of President Trump.

Moore said of Trammell:

“He’s a black elder who did not deserve to die the way that he did.”

The Chairman of the Republican Party in Wisconsin, Andrew Hitt, requested federal prosecutors to review and accept the case.

Hitt said:

“Because of Trammell’s well known political activism and the possibility that his murder could be politically motivated, I respectfully request that the United States Attorney Matthew Krueger open an investigation into this heinous crime.

“No American should fear for their personal safety because of where they live or their political affiliation.”

Hitt also commented:

“This is personal.

“This is going to be a motivating factor for us as we organize in central Milwaukee and across Wisconsin. I think it will give folks in the black community who support the president’s message more resolve and more determination than ever.”

Milwaukee police have not released any details of the investigation, which is normal, especially in a homicide investigation.  That does not mean that they do not know who did it or have an idea, it just means that they are keeping information close so as not to taint any criminal investigation.

Milwaukee Police Department wants anyone with any information to contact Milwaukee Crime Stoppers at 414 224-TIPS.

Trammell’s killing could have occurred for many different reasons and may not have anything to do with President Trump.

However, it is logical, given today’s climate, to think that someone could become volatile with Trammell over his belief that President Trump should be reelected, given that the seemingly random shooting murder took place just hours after his on-camera pro-Trump interview.
