Report: Defense Department hires ‘Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer’ – who compared Trump to Hitler

WASHINGTON, D.C.- The U.S. Special Operations Command’s newly-hired chief of diversity and inclusion shared anti-Trump memes on Facebook, one in particular that compared the former president to Adolf Hitler. 

According to reports, the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), which directs counterterrorism and unconventional warfare operations for the military, recently announced that Richard Torres-Estrada took over as chief of the Diversity and Inclusion unit effective March 1st.

In a post on Instagram announcing the hire, USSOCOM wrote:

“Torres-Estrada has nearly two decades worth of experience working diveristy and inclusion programs and activities in federal agencies and now will guide the enterprise-wide effort to institutionalize and sustain diversity and inclusion at the command.”

The statement added:

“We look forward to Mr. Torres-Estrada’s contribution in enhancing the capabilities and effectiveness of special forces operations through diversity of talent, helping us recruit the best of the best.”

Upon the Defense Department’s announcement, several horrific photos were dug up. In particular was a post where Torres-Estrada shared a comparison photo of Hitler and Trump photoshopped next to each other, holding Bibles in the air. The post was from June 2, 2020.

Not surprisingly, the new diversity chief did not think to verify the accuracy of the pst before sharing it. The image of Hitler has since been discredited as fact-checkers confirmed the Bible was photoshopped into the original image.

On Friday, March 26th, Fox News host Tucker Carlson pointed to Torres-Estrada’s politically-charged social media posts during his show. Carlson said:

“The point is, they’re the same. So, this is the guy who now oversees hiring for the SEALs.”

Carlson asserted that Torres-Estrada’s hiring is just one of several recent examples of the Defense Department going “woke,” a term used to describe hyper-awareness about social justice issues. He said:

“The Pentagon is now the Yale faculty lounge, but with cruise missiles. That should concern you.”

Torres-Estrada also posted on photo of Trump on July 8, 2020, surrounded by quotes smearing him and he posted a “missing sign” of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) on February 19, 2021. Joe Kent, a retired U.S. Army Special Forces chief warrant officer three tweeted:

“Looks like the new diversity officer loves celebrating diversity with those who agree with him. Here is what he thinks of the rest of us. Mr. Torres-Estrada was not placed in US Special Operations command by mistake.”

Torres-Estrada’s social media accounts show he has held diversity positions at several government agencies, most recently as an equal employment opportunity officer for the Washington Metro Area Transit Authority.

USSOCOM reportedly describes its mission as:

“Developing and employing fully capable Special Operation Forces to conduct global special operations and activities as part of the Joint Force to support persistent, networked, and distributed Combatant Command operations and campaigns against state and non-state actors to protect and advance U.S. policies and objectives.”

The department directs counterterrorism, counterinsurgency, reconnaissance, and unconventional warfare operations. The Pentagon recently formed the Diversity and Inclusion unit as part of its push for more diversity in its ranks and chain of command.

In response to the probe into Torres-Estrada from various media outlets, Ken McGraw, a spokesman for USSOCOM said in a statement:

“We are aware of the situation and the command has initiated an investigation.”

Two states sue Biden administration over new DHS rules that would limit ICE arrests, protect criminal illegals

WASHINGTON, DC – Arizona and Montana are amending a lawsuit filed against the Biden administration in an effort to block new immigration rules that drastically restrict deportations of illegal aliens. The new rules create a danger to the public, according to the lawsuit.

The original lawsuit, filed in early February by Arizona, challenged President Joe Biden’s attempt to impose a 100-day moratorium on deportations at the southern border. A similar Texas lawsuit resulted in the moratorium being blocked in late February.

Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich amended the state’s lawsuit to focus on guidance given to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) by the administration last month.

The guidance issued through the Department of Homeland Security instructs ICE officers to focus enforcement and deportation on three specific categories of illegal aliens: those who pose a threat to national security; those who have crossed the border since Nov. 1, and those who have committed “aggravated felonies.”

Brnovich issued a statement regarding the amended suit:

“If asked about the poorest policy choice I’ve ever seen in government, this would be a strong contender. Blindly releasing thousands of people, including convicted criminals and those who may be spreading COVID-19 into our state, is both unconscionable and a violation of federal law. This must be stopped now to avoid a dangerous humanitarian crisis for the immigrants and the people of Arizona.”

The lawsuit seeking a preliminary injunction to block the new ICE guidance was joined by Montana. Montana Attorney General Austin Krudsen said drugs crossing the border and entering his state are a primary concern:

“Meth trafficked into Montana by Mexican drug cartels has wracked our state. The problem will only be made worse if the Biden administration continues to allow criminals to stay in the country.

Enforcing our immigration laws and helping to keep Americans safe is one of the federal government’s most important functions. The Biden administration is failing its basic responsibility to Americans.”

The amended lawsuit alleges that the guidance, in addition to the original 100-day pause, was issued without providing notice to Arizona and Montana. Notice is required according to an agreement the states reached with the Trump administration in the closing days of his presidency.

The lawsuit also claims the initial pause and the guidance to ICE violate federal law, which requires an illegal alien who received a final deportation order to be removed from the United States within 90 days.

The Arizona Attorney General’s office wrote in a statement:

“The DHS Memorandum states it is to be in effect for 100 days, and the Interim Guidance states it is to be in effect for 90 days, but no apparent limiting factor is explained.

“If this action is permitted to stand, DHS could implement these polices for a longer period or even indefinitely, thus allowing the current Administration to unilaterally amend immigration laws without the required congressional action.”

Law enforcement officials are sounding the alarm, telling the Arizona Attorney General that the Department of Homeland Security is releasing “undocumented aliens without testing them for COVID-19” as a crisis grows at the southern border.

A spike in immigrants arriving at the border since President Biden signaled a softer immigration stance has stressed resources and personnel to the limit.

The Attorney General’s office said:

“Arizona officials are sounding the alarm about the growing crisis at the southwest border. There are caravans of undocumented aliens heading to the southwest border because of these lax DHS policies.

“Many are worried hospitals and medical centers, which have been operating at or near full-capacity due to the pandemic, could be overwhelmed. Possibly even more disturbing, the AGO has learned DHS is releasing potentially dangerous individuals without any coordination with local law enforcement.”

Report: Illegal immigrants being transported to homes inside country to avoid the appearance of border crisis

WASHINGTON, DC – Struggling with an influx of illegal immigrants answering his call at the border for eased immigration policies, the Biden administration was forced to re-open the child-only camp for illegals.

Conscious of the appearance as “kids in cages,” the administration plans to simply fly or bus more Central American migrants to homes throughout the United States.

By moving more immigrants away from the border and into the country, Biden is reportedly trying to make the false appearance that there is no border crisis.

He is also reportedly desperate not to appear to be keeping unaccompanied children in detention centers labeled as “children in cages” by his own party.

The Department of Health and Human Services released a statement Thursday stating its Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) has authorized to arrange transportation for unaccompanied children to sponsors inside the U.S.:

“(ORR) has authorized programs to pay transport fees for unaccompanied children (including airline tickets), including escort transport (where necessary by airline or ORR policy) in order to facilitate release of children to approved sponsors.

“ORR care providers are authorized to use program funds to purchase airline tickets in the event that a sponsor is not able to pay fees associated with commercial airfare, and a child’s physical release would be otherwise delayed.”

NumbersUSA policy director Rosemary Jenks told Breitbart that the move is less about the backlog, and more about open borders:

“This isn’t about a backlog. This is about Biden’s policies creating a border surge … They’re getting exactly what we all knew they were going to get, which is more people coming across, including more unaccompanied children.

“So now they’re trying to figure out what to do with them because you know AOC (Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, (D-NY)) and others are so unhappy with their ‘kids in containers’ policy that they’ve got to fly them away from the border, so nobody notices them.”

Jenks said that the Biden administration is trying to create a situation where open borders are the only alternative.

The complication the transportation of illegal migrant children across the country is trying to solve, she argues, is the appearance of a rush at the border.

This is the same strategy attempted by the Obama Administration:

“The administration wants open borders — they want anyone from around the world to come here as fast as they possibly can.”

She points out that the resulting rush is forcing officials to hide the rush by moving the illegals away from the border and into the country:

“Former President Obama knows that because when he was flying the unaccompanied children all over the country, all hell broke loose and governors started complaining, and citizens started complaining. I don’t see how anyone with a memory…would call that a win.”

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas told Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) that the cost was not an issue in moving migrants away from the border.

Mayorkas was also considering using funds from the now-suspended border wall program for the transportation program.

He told ICE leadership:

“We need to prepare for border surges now. We need to begin making changes immediately. We should privilege action over cost considerations; do what is needed, and the department will work on funding afterward.

“ICE should increase the cadence of its transport and arrange for individuals to complete their processing and ATD’ing (alternatives to detention) at processing centers north of the border.”

Biden is attempting to avoid the appearance of immigrants flooding the border and being detained, especially migrant children.

The administration attacked President Trump and his administration for keeping “children in cages.”
