I never thought I’d hear these words come out of my mouth:

“Good job, de Blasio.”

I mean, as a guy who has been with NYPD for nearly 20 years, I can tell you I’ve seen a lot.  But never have I seen a guy seem to hate cops as much as this politician.  Yet I have to give credit where credit is due.

He realizes he has no shot of winning as president, because most of America hates him.  God knows all of us cops do.

So today, he dropped his campaign to win the Socialist Party’s 202 presidential nomination Friday.

Wait – what was that?  Oh, my bad.  The “Democratic Party”.

Ha.

He announced his decision on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” show.

“I feel like I’ve contributed all I can to this primary election,” he said.

Yup.  You’ve done the same thing as mayor.  You’ve screwed up our city enough.  Get the hell out.

“And it’s clearly not my time. So I’m going to end my presidential campaign,” said de Blasio.

He’s one of three mayors who want the Communist’s nomination and a chance to unseat our great president, which ain’t gonna happen.

Wait – what was that?  Beh.  Sorry.  “Democrat’s nomination.”  I just can’t help myself.

The other two mayors are the guy from South Bend, Indiana who also seems to hate cops – Mayor Pete Buttigieg.

Then you’ve got Miramar, Florida, Mayor Wayne Messam.  I’ve never heard of the guy either, but hey – even a blind squirrel gets a nut sometimes.

De Blasio was killing it with voters’.  If by “killing it” we were keeping score like golf, where the lowest number is the best.  He had what even the liberal media referred to as “ultra-low support”.

The national polls showed he got at best 1% of support from the respondents.

That means 99% of people didn’t support him.  Shit – did they poll NYPD?  If so, that’s about right.

His numbers were so bad that the commies didn’t even want him in their third debate, which took place last week.  You know it’s bad when even your own party kicks you out.

There was a poll that came out by Siena College Research Institute about him.

Now you’d think that if anyone supported him, it’d be New Yorkers, right?

WRONG!

Less than 1% of New York state voters supported his candidacy and 0% of voters in New York City did so.

Oh, by the way, big man, Daddy T (President Trump) is rocking about a 50% approval rating.

In May, de Blasio’s announcement about his run came with a message that “Donald Trump must be stopped”.

But New Yorkers seem to think de Blasio should be stopped – as mayor.  All the way back then, 58% said he’s a lousy mayor and 76% said he shouldn’t run for president.

“The odds are clearly against me,” de Blasio said earlier in September.

I hope you didn’t just hear my school girl style giggle.

“But the odds have been against me in every election I’ve been in, and I’ve managed to prevail.”

Daddy T was pretty pumped to hear that homeboy was throwing the candidacy.

On Twitter, the president said de Blasio was “polling at a solid ZERO but had tremendous room for growth.”

Now it’s time for de Blasio to quit as mayor.  Let’s take a look back at some of the reasons why many of us cops can’t stand the guy.  It’s just the tip of the iceberg… but you’ll get the idea.

In August, a stunning new reports revealed that the mayor ordered the NYPD Executive Protection Unit to move his daughter’s belongings out of her Brooklyn apartment.

The New York Daily News reports that multiple sources have confirmed allegations that during the summer of 2018, NYPD was instructed to act as a moving company for his daughter Chiara de Blasio. The then 23-year-old had been living in an apartment at 4th Street at 56th in Brooklyn for approximately two years. When the time came to relocate, instead of calling a private company, Hizzoner called NYPD to do the heavy lifting.

A source close to the New York Daily News says:

“They used detectives and department vehicles on city time to move his daughter.”

Not only were officers allegedly put to work in a gross abuse of city resources, but two unmarked Sprinter vans that belong at City Hall were apparently sent to collect the 23-year-old’s personal possessions and transport them to Gracie Mansion. The Mayor’s wife First Lady Chirlane McCray personally directed the crew, the New York Daily News reports.

A neighbor in the Sunset Park neighborhood identifying himself only as Gabriel had heard rumors that the young woman he frequently saw was de Blasio’s daughter. He was appalled to learn that New York’s finest were used for the move. He commented:

“That’s terrible. Why couldn’t he get a U-Haul and do it himself? You gonna use our cops?”

Gabriel further revealed that a number of Chiara’s belongings were left abandoned on the city sidewalk. Dumping and littering is a chronic problem the city has long struggled to manage.

An officer who remains unnamed did speak out to the New York Daily News commenting:

“You can’t question him… It’s just part of the job. You just do it out of respect.”

The alleged inappropriate abuse of city resources an officers is the hardly the first scandal raising eyebrows at de Blasio in the past few weeks. The New York Daily News’ Anna Sanders and Stephen Rex Brown reported in late July that the Mayor had requested a NYPD owned bullet-proof vest be loaned to his staff so that it could be used for a comedy skit featuring de Blasio and “The Wire” cast in 2016.

NYPD agreed to loan the $400 piece of lifesaving equipment to the Mayor expecting its return. The vest never made it back.

According to Sanders and Brown, no report was even filed for the missing vest. NYPD spokesman Phil Walzak commented “It was not reported at the time because all evidence suggested the vest was misplaced, not stolen, and would be found shortly after the event.” The mayor’s office has not provided comment on the missing gear.

Last week, we reported on NYPD officials who have lost faith in de Blasio.

He doesn’t care about members of law enforcement. And now his actions (or lack thereof) are becoming “a danger to the police.”

Those were the damning words spoken by former NYPD police chief Louis Anemone in an interview with Fox, criticizing New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio for his treatment of those who hold the thin blue line.

“He does not have their back. I firmly believe that he does not have their back.”

Anemone joined the NYPD when he was 18, and knows nothing but a life of service and sacrifice.

He said the recent blatant disrespect for New York officers regarding the water bucket assaults would have never happened under the watch of former mayor Rudy Giuliani. The former chief said that he had “a pulse on the city.”

“It’s disgraceful,” Anemone continued. “He’s the chief executive of this city of New York, the largest city in this country. He has not taken the lead for security, for public security, and for supporting the police. He’s been behind, way behind,” Anemone said.

“He does not have their back. I firmly believe that he does not have their back.”

Anemone came on air to speak about how de Blasio’s actions and attitude toward his police force have bred contempt and hostility in the streets. He basically said that the mayor was flat-out responsible for the water assaults.

Anemone went on to say that police need to do what they need to do in order to maintain control, regardless of what the public will say afterward.

Since the water videos went viral, police have arrested four suspects in connection with assaulting the officers.

This is far from the first time we’ve heard that Bill de Blasio isn’t doing any favors to the world of first responders.

He recently used his biracial son for political attention after repeatedly having to warn him of the “dangers of police brutality.”

“I have had to have very, very serious talks with my son, Dante, about how to protect himself on the streets of our city and all over our country, including how to deal with the fact that he has to take special caution because there have been too many tragedies between our young men and our police.”

He skipped out on a 9/11 memorial dedication for fallen heroes so that he could go to the gym and drink his morning coffee.

Then he missed a 9/11 hero’s wake in order to ‘campaign’ for the position of Commander in Chief. You remember Luis Alvarez and his harrowing testimony which begged members of the government to provide the benefits that the heroes of ground zero deserved.

Even his own staffers don’t believe he’s fit to be the next president.

Fox News reported in July that members of his administration had some choice words about his campaign.

“It’s a joke,” one employee reportedly said, inferring that it’s mostly a play for national attention.

“I think that he knows that he can’t win. It’s just a lot of eye-rolling … He’s doing it because he’s got a big ego and needs to prove something, and I don’t think he’s going to quietly go away and become an adjunct professor at Hunter.”
