There is a missing mountie in Kelowna, British Columbia. Constable Warren Ning was removed from its post and has gone missing.

On Jan. 17, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police were alerted of the disappearance of the life-sized cutout from its position outside A.S. Matheson Elementary School.

Police believe the suspect(s) left the area with the cutout sometime after 3:30 p.m. when school was out, reported kelownanow.com.

“Simply put, it is truly disappointing,” states Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey of the Kelowna RCMP. “This initiative was created with the safety of our youth in mind. Whoever is responsible for the theft has put students at risk.”

RCMP are urging the thief to return Constable Ning to the school it was removed from.
