Bombshell report suggests FBI, New York Times colluded in hit piece on conservative whistleblower

NEW YORK CITY- This folks is what you call a bombshell and we are not overstating that fact. Deep state? It’s not a fantasy made up in the mind of far-right conservative bomb throwers…it is real and it is happening right under our noses.

Moreover, in some ways they are not even trying to hide it anymore.

According to the co-publisher of Human Events as reported in Freedom First Network, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, which continues to show itself as an inept, deeply partisan agency has been unmasked as participating in a scheme to take down Project Veritas.

And the New York Times appears to be knee-deep in the scheme.

In case you missed it, the FBI raided the home of James O’Keefe, founder of Project Veritas which has been at the forefront of uncovering the nefarious activities of companies and organizations such as Facebook and Planned Parenthood, among many others. And of course, targeting leftists just simply cannot be allowed to stand.

The co-publisher of Human Events, Will Chamberlain announced that the FBI engaged in what amounted to a clear violation of attorney-client privilege, in which the New York Times actively colluded by reporting details of that privilege.

In other words, the Times published protected legal communications between Project Veritas employees after being provided them from a source within the FBI. As an interesting side note, Project Veritas has an active lawsuit filed against the Times which makes this revelation even more disturbing. According to Chamberlain:

The FBI raided Project Veritas on a pretext and is now leaking their privileged communications to the New York Times. This is a scandal.

These are classic privileged communications. PV [Project Veritas] asked for a legal opinion on potential journalistic activities, that opinion is a privileged communication. No idea what @adamgoldmanNYT was thinking here, he should be subpoenaed tomorrow and forced to reveal his criminal source.

I didn’t even think about the fact that PV is currently in litigation with the New York Times. Makes it all the more appalling that the NYT would be publishing Veritas’ privileged communications.

According to information, the alleged premise for the FBI raid on O’Keefe as well as current and former Project Veritas employees was over an alleged diary owned by Ashley Biden, the daughter of Joe Biden.

Existence of the diary, which allegedly contains sordid and rather disturbing details about Ashley’s relationship with her father, has been debunked, however the FBI’s raid seems to lend credence to the existence of the book. Or does it?

Project Veritas has been a thorn in the side of leftists for years, and using the Ashley Biden diary as a pretext for a raid that resulted in a hit piece from the New York Times is clearly too convenient, with the raid appearing to be designed more as a means to undermine the credibility of PV.

On Thursday, a federal judge blocked the FBI from accessing additional data from O’Keefe’s phone, however that was akin to shutting the barn door after the horses escaped…most of the damage has already been done. O’Keefe’s attorneys believe the information contained in the Times hit piece were obtained from O’Keefe’s phone.

Speaking to Fox News’ Sean Hannity earlier this week, O’Keefe spoke to the pre-dawn raid from last weekend.

“I woke up to a pre-dawn raid. Banging on my door, I went to my door to answer the door and there were ten FBI agents with a battering ram, white blinding lights, they turned me around, handcuffed me and threw me against the hallway,” O’Keefe told Hannity.

“I was partially clothed in front of my neighbors. They confiscated my phone. They raided my apartment. On my phone were many of my reporters’ notes. A lot of my sources unrelated to this story and a lot of confidential donor information to our news organization.”

O’Keefe told Hannity that he was “in a state of shock” and noted the FBI agents spent over two hours searching his apartment, and also told Hannity they took two of his iPhones.

Regarding the Ashley Biden diary, O’Keefe’s attorney Paul Calli said that Project Veritas had paid money to tipsters who had obtained the diary for the “right to publish the material,” which Project Veritas never did and instead turned the material over to “local law enforcement.”

According to political commentator Mike Cernovich, the federal judge who blocked the FBI from conducting further may have more questions as to how the Times was able to gain access to O’Keefe’s privileged communication with his attorneys.

Something tells me that the Federal judge who ordered the FBI to stop removing files from Project Veritas devices is going to have some questions as to how attorney-client privileged communications were removed from those devices and sent to the NYT.

Radio talk show host Todd Starnes was even more direct as to what was done between the FBI and NYT.

So the FBI is colluding with the NYT to take down Project Veritas. This is the Deep State President Trump was talking about.

Judge Analisa Torres of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York ordered the FBI to stop accessing the information contained within O’Keefe’s phones and verify they had done so by Friday.

As noted by PJ Media, the FBI raid on O’Keefe is not unlike a similar raid perpetrated by then California attorney general Kamala Harris, who authorized a raid looking into a man named David Daleiden, who had produced a series of videos which showed Planned Parenthood buying and selling aborted baby parts.

O’Keefe warned that the apparent collusion between the FBI and the New York Times is an ominous turn of events and puts a spotlight on an apparent attack by the Biden Justice Department on the First Amendment.

“This is an attack on the First Amendment by the Department of Justice,” O’Keefe told Hannity.

“I’m calling upon all journalists to take a stand against this. A source comes to us with information, I didn’t even decide to publish it.

If they can do this to me, if they can do it to this journalist and raid my home and take my reporter notes, they’ll do it to any journalist.

This is about something very fundamental in this country. I don’t know which direction this country is going. But journalists everywhere have to rise up because we broke no laws here. If they can to it to me, they’ll do it to anybody.”

The raid on O’Keefe followed two other raids conducted on Project Veritas associates, with the Ashley Biden diary being used as a pretext. The diary went missing just days before the 2020 election.

Last Friday, O’Keefe released a statement that “within an hour” of the FBI’s raid of a Project Veritas reporter, the Times just happened to contact that reporter for comment.

“We do not know how the New York Times was aware of the execution of a search warrant at our reporter’s home or the subject matter of the search warrant as a grand jury investigation is secret,” the Project Veritas founder said.

“The FBI took materials of current, former Project Veritas journalists despite the fact that our legal team previously contacted the Department of Justice and voluntarily conveyed unassailable facts that demonstrate Project Veritas’ lack of involvement in criminal activity, and or criminal intent.”

“Our efforts were the stuff of responsible ethical journalism, and we are in no doubt that Project Veritas acted properly at each and every step,” O’Keefe said.

O’Keefe also questioned why, if such a diary existed, the FBI would be involved in investigating it?

We would also be curious that apparently the FBI has time to conduct raids over a diary, send a team of a dozen FBI agents to Talladega to investigate garage door pulls, and target people for trespassing on the Capitol grounds on Jan. 6, but didn’t have the time in summer 2020 to identify, arrest and prosecute those who burned cities across the country.

“Project Veritas gave the diary to law enforcement to ensure it could be returned to its rightful owner. We never published it,” O’Keefe said.

“Now, Ms. Biden’s father’s Department of Justice, specifically the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, appears to be investigating the situation, claiming the diary was stolen. We don’t know if it was, but it begs the question: In what world is the alleged theft of a diary investigated by the President’s FBI and his Department of Justice? A diary?”

Only if it’s used as a pretext to conduct a hit job on the president’s political enemies, apparently.

Editor note: In 2020, we saw a nationwide push to “defund the police”.  While we all stood here shaking our heads wondering if these people were serious… they cut billions of dollars in funding for police officers.  And as a result, crime has skyrocketed – all while the same politicians who said “you don’t need guns, the government will protect you” continued their attacks on both our police officers and our Second Amendment rights.

And that’s exactly why we’re launching this national crowdfunding campaign as part of our efforts to help “re-fund the police”.
