Black Lives Matter storms Target: “All black people…until you stop calling the police, we will continue to shut your business down.”

WASHINGTON DC – Black Lives Matter (BLM) protestors took over a Target store in Washington D.C. Friday night… in an effort to get people to stop calling the police. One male with a bullhorn shouted out scripts while the group repeated the messages.

The chants were as follows:

“All black people, living around this neighborhood, because you prioritize money over people, until you stop calling the police, we will continue to shut your business down.”

Breitbart News reported that Drew Hernandez, a reporter, posted the video of the BLM protestors which there was no police response. Drew Hernandez tweeted multiple times about the protests.

“Apparently if that @Target in DC ever calls the cops on a black person ever again BLM will shut them down. Sounds a lot like what Hawk Newsome said on Fox the other night about ‘burning down the system.’ Radicals.”

Breitbart News also posted this story on their Facebook page.

Breitbart News reported that the male with the bullhorn from Friday night was also out on Thursday night but at a local restaurant in the nation’s capital. There he was reported as chanting:

“We are here tonight while you are dining because black people are dying at the hands of the police. So, while you’re dining, we are sorry for your inconvenience, but black people are dying today.

While you are dining, we’re going to read you some facts about the murder of black people. We are here tonight because black lives matter. We are here tonight because black trans lives matter.”

Other chants by the protestors were:

“Free the people. Fight the power. Fuck the police.”

These leftists also held signs that read:

“NO JUSTICE, NO PEACE, #BLACKLIVESMATTER,” “ABOLISH THE INSTITUTION WE NEED A REVOLUTION,” “DEFUND AND ABOLISH MPD,” and “FREE THE PEOPLE, FIGHT THE POWER, FUCK THE POLICE.”

The Thursday night protest was reported by Breitbart News as being at the Pisco y Nazca Ceviche Gastrobar where Peruvian cuisine is served.

Breitbart asked the manager of the restaurant if the protest was coordinated with them. The manager said:

“No. They came in of their own free will, and there were too many of them to kick out, so I just kind of let them do what they wanted to.”

The protestors shouted to the crowd:

“If you believe that black lives matter, if you believe that black trans lives matter, we ask you to raise your hand up in the air in solidarity with all black and brown murdered by the police. We demand you to abolish the police.”

Several patrons at the Pisco y Nazca Ceviche Gastrobar raised their hands to the chant.

The Daily Wire News reported in an interview from Thursday night with Fox News anchor Martha MacCallum and the lead of the BLM chapter in New York, Hawk Newsome.

Anchorwoman MacCallum started the interview by addressing Newsome’s support for using violence to reach political objectives. MacCallum’s question to Newsome was:

“What exactly is it that you hope to achieve through violence?”

Newsome’s response according to the Daily Wire was:

“Wow, it’s interesting that you would pose that question like that because this county is built upon violence. What was the American Revolution? What’s our …diplomacy across the globe? We go in and blow up countries and we replaced their leaders with leaders who would like. So for any American to accuse us of being violent, it’s extremely hypocritical.”

The Daily Wire also reported Hank Newsome and the BLM as being neo-Marxist and quoted Newsome, from a Fox News report, on Wednesday night as saying if they do not get what they want they will “burn down” the system.

Daily Wire News reported, via Fox News, Newsome ending the interview:

“I just want black liberation and black sovereignty, by any means necessary.”

The violence has spread across the country.  Look no further than Tampa.

We have seen police officers taking knees with protesters across the country, especially at the beginning of the so-called “peaceful” protests over the death of George Floyd.

What we have also seen is police officers, who are responding to reported calls, being setup and ambushed. The police chief in Tampa Bay has had enough after nine officers were ambushed in the city last week.

Chief Brian Dugan of the Tampa Bay police department criticized the local prosecutor after he had made the claim that demonstrators were “peaceful.”

Newsmax reported that Dugan took an appearance on Fox News Channel’s morning show Fox & Friends this past Thursday, where he claimed that police officers were called to a location which is known for block parties on the report of a shooting last Saturday, where they were attacked by bottles and other object in what was described as a contained area.

Two officers were injured as a result.

In the interview with Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt, and Brian Kilmeade, Dugan noted that the country was “at a crossroads,” and that if protesters and residents are inclined to make enemies out of police officers, they should prepare themselves to “make friends with the criminals.”

While officers were at the scene searching for a possible victim, the hoodlums blocked their path and became aggressive, throwing objects and jumping on a police vehicle.

“It was an ambush. I have no other way to describe it,” Dugan said at a Monday news conference. “When there are that many people out there and clearly no one had been shot. It was just a setup to get the cops there,” he told Fox & Friends.

Murdered officer's grave desecrated before headstone even placed

Dugan said that due to high tensions throughout the country involving police, the department had changed protocols involving officer response to calls.

“We have changed our protocols where we send at least two officers to any type of call that we’re going to. Whether it’s a delayed burglary or whatever. This incident we actually sent nine officers to and it was clearly just a setup to get the cops there and surround them,” Dugan said on Thursday. “But this is what we’re dealing with, you know?

Dugan explained that current circumstances and with anti-police sentiment running high, he feels like police are in a no-win situation.

“If we show up and take action, you know, we’re heavy handed, you know it’s ‘excessive force,’” he said. “You know, [with] these peaceful protests, demonstrations—they turn on a dime and they can turn on the cops very quickly.”

Addressing the call nationwide to defund police, Dugan said, “We need to be very careful about that. The next time there’s an active shooter at the mall, the next time there’s an act of terrorism, or a school shooting, who’s going to respond?”

Dugan also slammed prosecutors, accusing them of not “depicting the whole story and leaving portions out that [don’t] fit their narrative,” including the destruction of police property.

“And I think we’re running into a situation in this country where, you know, people are now so afraid they’re going to lose their job, that they’re not doing their job,” he said.

The so-called “cancel culture” has already cost numerous people their jobs, including police officers and police administrators.

“You know, I assure you that, you know, we are not going to take a knee. We are going to stand up. We are going to defend our city,” he said. “We are the guardians of the city. And we have no [intention] of handing over the key to the city to these protesters who quite frankly are just not always peaceful.”

Dugan said during the press conference Monday that officers are exhausted, and morale is low.

“The police, we always have everybody’s back, and nobody has our back,” Dugan said. “Right now, the officers feel like they can’t win. And I would have to agree with them.”

Newsmax said that this incident came two weeks after Hillsborough States Attorney Andrew Warren declined to file charges against 67 people arrested in Tampa on June 3 for unlawful assembly.

Warren issued a statement that read, in part “prosecuting people exercising their First Amendment rights doesn’t solve problems, it creates them.”

Spoken like a true, spineless bureaucrat.
