Former police chief: Out of control Biden declares war on gun owners with new executive orders on gun control

WASHINGTON, DC- Be warned…they are coming after your guns.

First of all, Democrats including Joe Biden advocated anarchy on the streets of America last summer, excusing it under the guise of “systemic racism.”

Next, Democrats cheered on by Biden advocated for cities to defund the police.

Then, after Biden was installed in the White House, he opened the southern border of the United States to anyone who wants to enter our country.

The final nail in the coffin of our once great country?

Well that started to be driven home Thursday when Biden decided to urinate on what is left of the United States Constitution by issuing an executive order chipping away at the Second Amendment.

The United States government, set up as a representative Republic is designed to have three co-equal branches of government. Under Joe Biden, that no longer exists.

Like a third-world dictator in Venezuela, Biden wants to rule as a king, ruling by executive fiat. Moreover, the Democrat leadership in the House and Senate seems to have no problem with that.

Multi-trillion dollar spending packages are passed through reconciliation, skipping the typical legislative process which involves committee hearings and public input. Whatever old “lunch bucket Joe” wants, he gets. Or more accurately, whatever the new-Marxists who are pulling his puppet strings want, they get.

On Thursday, Biden announced a series of executive actions on gun control, setting up a court showdown over the Second Amendment rights of Americans. It has also been promised that what was announced by Biden Thursday in a typical stumbling, bumbling speech is “only the beginning.”

We won’t even address the numerous falsehoods and outright lies told by Biden on Thursday. Clearly Biden was playing to the base of the Democrat party who don’t know the difference between an AR-15 and a Super Soaker. But he was giving them the red meat they so crave.

So, what was the old “Scranton kid” proposing on Tuesday?

Well he talked about “ghost guns.” Scary, right? What exactly is a “ghost gun?” Basically it’s a gun that comes to the buyer in parts and must be assembled in order to make it work. In essence, it’s like a plastic model kit of our youth for gun buyers.

There is a certain amount of skill involved in making these weapons we are told and they are designed for personal use only, since there is no type of serial number on the weapon. It is already illegal to sell these weapons. They are strictly for the use of the buyer.

What else is old Biden gonna do? Well he’s next going to go after those plastic gun braces, typically used by handicapped or disabled people in order to allow them to shoot for sport, or in some cases self-defense.

We’re not sure about you, but how many shootings have you heard of where a plastic gun brace was used by the shooter? We’ve heard of one. Biden then went on to claim that these braces make pistols so-equipped “more lethal” than rifles. Clearly he has no evidence to back that claim, but it sounds good.

In a press briefing full of whoppers, the biggest one was where Biden claimed that AR-15s can hold “up to 100 rounds.” Now, we’re not sure what AR-15s Biden has seen but the next time you see an AR-15 that holds a 100-round magazine, please let us know. They simply do not exist in any quantifiable number, if any. But of course, this plays into the left’s demonization of the evil, black, scary-looking AR-15.

Biden also spoke of a so-called “gun show loophole,” another fantasy of the anti-gun left. Biden made the claim that when you purchase a firearm at a gun shop, you have to go through a background check, but if you go to a gun show, you basically go in, grab an AK-47 and walk out the door with it.

That is a lie. People who purchase guns at such shows are required to go through the same background checks as though they walked into Cabela’s or Bass Pro Shops and wanted a firearm. No difference. There are no special rules for gun shows.

Old Joe then talked about working with the Department of Justice to develop “model red-flag law” policies that would ostensibly be available for states to model such policies after. What red-flag laws really do is circumvent the rights of due process guaranteed under the Constitution.

However probably the most bizarre…and potentially frightening comment made by Biden on Thursday (besides changing the name of the BATF to the AFT—old Joe just can’t get those teachers unions out of his mind) was when he said that “Constitutional rights are not absolute.” Um, what?

Oh, let’s not forget when Biden referred to guns as a “public health crisis.” Where have we heard THAT before? Since March 2020, a “public health crisis” has been used as a basis to eviscerate the rights of Americans under at least the First Amendment, if not more.

That term—“public health crisis”—should ring alarm bells far and wide across the country because if nothing else, the American people have seen how power-mad politicians have used the coronavirus to stomp on the rights of their “subjects.” And we have seen that Biden is not beyond falling into the category of being “power mad.”

Here’s what Biden said:

“We got a long way to go. It always seems like we always have a long way to go. But I also—today, we’re taking steps to confront not just the gun crisis, but what is actually a public health crisis. Nothing—nothing I’m about to recommend in any way impinges on the Second Amendment. They’re phony arguments suggesting that these are Second Amendment rights at stake from what we’re talking about.”

Yeah, ok.

The timing of Biden’s run on guns is curious, but not surprising. In true Saul Alinsky and Cloward and Piven strategy, Biden and the Democrats have not only embraced chaos for the past year, but have actually facilitated it.

We have seen chaos on the streets of our major cities, criminals are let out of jail without bond (including ironically those arrested for GUN crimes), and more recently Biden has set out the welcome mat for anyone who wants to enter the US, including criminals.

At a time when police are overwhelmed and when their numbers are dwindling due in no small part to the Democrats’ war on police, now they decide to go after what is in many cases the only means for people to protect themselves, the ability to carry a firearm to protect themselves and their loved ones?

Think about this. The same Democrats who want to open the jailhouse door to real criminals are trying to make criminals out of law-abiding citizens. The disconnect is mind-boggling.

For someone who isn’t “going after [your] Second Amendment rights,” actions speak louder than words. Biden’s choice to lead the ATF (or as he referred to it, AFT) is a man named David Chipman.

Chipman, who gives the appearance of someone who’s been overdosing on caffeine or something more potent is a former ATF agent who found himself working with an anti-gun group started by former Rep. Gabby Giffords.

Chipman’s nomination to lead the ATF got the attention of Larry Keane, general counsel and senior vice president of the National Shooting Sports Foundation, who said his nomination was “beyond the pale.” In fact, Keane doubts that Chipman will receive the votes to get confirmed by the Senate, however Biden can bypass that detail by appointing him as acting director.

Aside from being a fierce anti-gun nut, Chipman was involved with the cluster at the Branch Davidian complex in Waco, Texas in the 1990s.

In fact, Chipman made a wild claim that members of that group were trying to shoot down government helicopters, a claim that was proven to be false. The government’s attempt to breach the complex in 1993 led to the death of 76 members of the religious community, including 20 children and 2 miscarried babies. Quite the resume there, Chipman.

Chipman also has mocked gun owners, basically insinuating we’re a bunch of redneck hayseeds. Last year during the onset of the pandemic, Chipman advocated for closing gun shops as part of the coronavirus restrictions.

In a particularly snarky comment, Chipman said:

“If we can imagine how horrible this crisis is…the people who hoarded the guns might decide six months from now—once they see no zombies around but they’ve run out of tuna and beef jerky—that they need money to buy food.”

What an unadulterated ass.

Biden’s proposed orders of course ignore the fact that most gun deaths are caused not by AR-15s but rather handguns, most of them obtained illegally or stolen.

While gun grabbers talk about mass shootings and rail against organizations such as the NRA, there is no proof that a member of the NRA or any other organized gun group has ever engaged in a mass shooting. In most cases of such incidents, the firearms were obtained legally.

The one point that has snuck under the radar but which is one gun owners and Second Amendment advocates need to pay attention to is in fact the one about the pistol braces.

By connecting pistols equipped as such into the National Firearms Act, it isn’t a long road to encompassing all semi-automatic pistols into that group. As PJMedia noted, they are “nibbling around the edges of gun control.”

Pay attention to this gun control garbage. Biden is going through the socialist playbook step by step and taking guns away from law-abiding citizens is a step in the process.

Whenever the government tells you they are doing something for your “own good” or for “health and safety,” remember what we have been enduring during the 14 months of “14 days to flatten the curve.”
