WATERBURY, VT – Ben & Jerry’s, the ice cream conglomerate, has apparently decided that they are the moral arbiter of what constitutes social justice. It isn’t enough that they have taken a lead in the activism that seeks to defund police.
Now they were trying to decide the outcome of a trial before the jury has rendered a verdict.
And they are doing so as they disseminate false equivalencies and factually inaccurate information, which is all part of a deeper twisted narrative.
They joined other members of the Twitter “blue-check mafia” in going after Kyle Rittenhouse, the teenager accused of intentional homicide and other charges stemming from the riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin in August of 2020.
New York Congressman, Hakeem Jeffries tweeted:
Lock up Kyle Rittenhouse and throw away the key.
— Hakeem Jeffries (@hakeemjeffries) November 10, 2021
And who could forget Lebron James mocking the teen’s emotional breakdown on the witness stand?
What tears????? I didn’t see one. Man knock it off! That boy ate some lemon heads before walking into court. 🤣🤣🤣 https://t.co/LKwYssIUmD

Hey King, the Twitter-verse has a long memory, as demonstrated by Jesse Kelly.
James can apparently show anguish and pain over a muscle cramp, but a young man on trial for his life cannot do so over having to take the life of two men in what is widely seen as a classic case of self-defense.

Last Thursday, Ben & Jerry’s official Twitter account issued the following thought.
The #RittenhouseTrial displays yet again that our “justice” system is racist.⁰⁰How would this trial be going if he was a Black 17 yr old that crossed state lines illegally carrying an AR-15 and shot 3 white protesters?⁰⁰We need real justice in the legal system. This isn’t it.

“The #RittenhouseTrial displays yet again that our ‘justice’ system is racist.
How would this trial be going if he was a Black 17 yr old that crossed state lines illegally carrying an AR-15 and shot 3 white protesters?
We need real justice in the legal system. This isn’t it.”
The tweet has almost as many unhealthy ingredients as their frozen products.
There are a few items of interest regarding the timing of this tweet.
First, it came the day after Kyle Rittenhouse took the stand to tell his side of the story. It came two full days after the prosecution finished their arguments and calling their witnesses.
It also came three days after the star witnesses for the state, Gaige Grosskreutz testified that Rittenhouse only shot after he pointed his own gun at him. The same gun he told police he didn’t have with him at the time he was shot.
The same gun he was alleged to possess illegally, as it has been widely reported that he was a felon on August 25th, 2020. He has not yet been charged with any weapons charges or attempted murder for pointing a gun at Rittenhouse.
He is alleged to have said in the hospital that his only regret was not emptying his magazine into Rittenhouse.
As it turns out, Grosskreutz was also arrested and charged in January of this year for operating a motor vehicle under the influence and operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration.
Ironically, both of those charges were dropped at the request of the prosecutor on October 28th, just a few days before he testified that Rittenhouse was acting in self-defense.
As they continued to show that they have no grasp on reality, comparing Pumpkin Cheesecake to Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, by rolling out their false equivalency.
“How would this trial be going if he was a Black 17 yr old that crossed state lines illegally carrying an AR-15 and shot 3 white protesters?
That would insinuate that Rittenhouse, who was 17 at the time of the riots, had shot 3 black protestors. But that didn’t happen.
Rittenhouse, as the evidence shows and witnesses have testified to, did not fire his weapon he feared for his life.
First with convicted child sex-offender, who had been threatening people and pursued Rittenhouse and attempted to take his weapon.
Next, with another felon with a history of violence and domestic abuse, who hit the teen in the head with a skateboard.
And finally, with another man who pointed a gun at his head from point blank range.
For Ben & Jerry, or at least the person behind the Twitter account, facts do not matter.
To them, a case involving four white males, three of whom are felons, and one who appears to have acted in self-defense, is completely racist. They also alluded to the belief that Rittenhouse illegally crossed the state line with an AR-15.
Again, the evidence in this case indicates otherwise.
The weapon Rittenhouse carried that night never left the state of Wisconsin. No state lines were illegally crossed. He did live 20 miles away in Antioch, Illinois, but worked in Kenosha. His father lives in Kenosha. Kenosha is his community.
In fact, he didn’t even cross the state line for the purpose of going to the riots that night. He stayed in Kenosha after his shift as a lifeguard had ended the day before.
Luckily, the Vermont-based company has decided that being “woke” and pandering to people based on a false narrative is more profitable that truth, integrity and being factual.
To them, this case isn’t playing out the way it is because of the evidence and the testimony. No, to the men who make ice cream for a living, the only reason that Rittenhouse will potentially be acquitted of intentional murder charges stands only on the fact that he isn’t black.
We should not be surprised by their comments and stance given their recent levels of activism.
Whether it is their erroneous belief that 48 states seeking to have election integrity are actually racist and making it harder for minorities to vote, the Colin Kaepernick-inspired Change the Whirled offering, their decision to pull their products out of stores to protest the nation of Israel, or their numerous attempts to influence and aid defunding police, and their lobbying to remove qualified immunity for members of law enforcement.
Regardless of the causes they are trying to advance, the truth about Ben & Jerry’s is evident. They have no problem advancing lies and misinformation. They have zero issue with attempting to sway public opinion away from the truth.
If they can pander to their audience and sell some overpriced pints of ice cream in the process, they will be just fine. Truth be damned.

WATERBURY, VT- There are plenty of outstanding ice cream brands out there.
Our recommendation for those who support law enforcement is to seek those out and avoid woke Ben & Jerry’s, owned by Unilever.
The company’s latest foray into wokeness is to partner with wacky Missouri Rep. Cori Bush (D) to push an anti-police bill seeking to defund the police and replace them with social workers, the New York Post reports.
Ben & Jerry’s, founded by 60’s hippy throwbacks Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield has long been one of the wokest and most obnoxious companies out there.
Their latest foray into virtue signaling social justice is the development of a new flavor called “Change is Brewing,” a portion of the proceeds of which will be donated to “grassroots groups looking to transform public safety in America.”
Introducing Change Is Brewing, the flavor helping to transform the nation’s approach to public safety to one that prioritizes community needs, in collaboration w/ @Mvmnt4BlkLives. Join us in supporting the People's Response Act! More: https://t.co/OoCYKSIuCP pic.twitter.com/8xQgWPBVIs

If someone actually takes time out of important matters of the day, such as using the restroom or watching paint dry to visit the company’s website, will be encouraged to “Join the Movement for Black Lives and support the People’s Response Act!”
The Movement for Black Lives is of course the fundraising arm for Black Lives Matter, the Marxist organization which specializes in shaking down American businesses and pushing a Marxist ideology.
The “People’s Response Act” is the bill introduced by crazy Cori, who famously spends a ton of money on her own personal security because she’s “important” while taking police protection away from her minions. She’s also probably tied for being the dumbest member in Congress with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
The new flavor was announced by the Vermont-based company Monday as a limited batch flavor, consisting of cold brew coffee ice cream with marshmallow swirls and fudge brownies.
“Grab your spoon & dig into a flavor boldly celebrating safety & liberation for all,” the description of the ice cream flavor reads. “It’s time to divest from systems that criminalize black communities & invest in a vision of public safety that allows everyone to breathe free.”
Ah, see what you did there…breathe free…George Floyd. Clever.
The company, which actually employs a “US activism manager” named Jabari Pall, announced the flavor at a press conference alongside Bush, who looks like she probably indulges in the high-calorie ice cream on a regular basis.
“The flavor supports the vision of the world in which every community is safe and everyone including black and brown people can thrive,” Pall said Monday.
He didn’t address the scores of people shot in Chicago last weekend, primarily people of color, shot by other people of color. Remember, cops are the bad guys.
The flavor was developed in a partnership between the woke company and a black owned coffee and tea company, Blk & Bold and a New York bakery.
In June, Bush introduced the Peoples Response Act in June in part to establish a new public safety division (i.e. more government employees) within the Department of Health and Human Services.
The division would use non-police first responders for “emergency” situations involving mental health issues, substance abuse and a number of other situations. It apparently would require callers to be psychics in order to determine if the person is suffering a mental health issue or is just a crazed lunatic.
“I’m the St. Louis congresswoman and I’m proud to be the St. Louis congresswoman, to be someone whose work was born primarily out of the [falsely reported] Ferguson uprising,” Bush said.
She continues to push the false narrative that criminal thug Michael Brown was killed by a Ferguson police officer for no reason.
“For decades, our communities have suffered under the violence of intentional disinvestment and underfunding. Our healthcare, our education, our housing, our green spaces all left in shambles while our police spending per capita continued to increase to its present level as one of the highest in the country,” Bush said.
Apparently, it isn’t enough. St. Louis has seen over 100 homicides this year in Bush’s district. She seems rather unconcerned about those numbers. Meanwhile the St. Louis Police Department is short-staffed, and the city’s mayor has not seen fit to fill those vacancies.
Bush meanwhile was slammed earlier this year for spending over $75,000 for her personal security—far and above the most of any House representative, even as she was one of the biggest loudmouths on defunding the police.
“I’m going to make sure I have security because I now have had attempts on my life and I have too much work to do, there are too many people that need help right now,” she said in a CBS interview.
“If I end up spending $200,000, if I spend $10 more dollars on it—you know what, I get to be here to do the work. So suck it up!”
She cannot be serious 🙄

Ben & Jerry’s has long been involved in far-left social causes, including advocating for the release of Mumia Abu Jamal, who murdered a Philadelphia police officer in cold blood in 1981.
The company was also slammed earlier this year after they announced they would stop selling ice cream in what they called “occupied territories” in Israel. That move led a number of states to divest from Unilever in protest.

Among brands falling under the Unilever brand that are worthy of law enforcement boycott are:
Dollar Shave Club, Dove, Hellmann’s/Best Foods, Knorr, Lipton, Vaseline, Magnum, Klondike, Fudgsicle, Sealtest, Red Rose Tea, Degree, Q-tips, Suave and many others.
For all their virtue signaling, Unilever has been involved in a lot of issues which prove they may be just little bit hypocritical, as follows:
- Established a price fixing scheme in Europe for which they were fined 104 million in April 2011 by the European Commission
- Misleading the public and hiding information about the contamination of Salmonella in cereal in Israel
- Being one of the top ten companies spreading plastic pollution in the world in 2019 by Break Free From Plastic
- Causing deforestation in Indonesia and Cote d’lvoire
- For child labor and forced labor
- Polluting the waters in a densely populated area by dumping toxic mercury wastes, done by the Indian subsidiary of the company.

Yet, Unilever through their subsidiary Ben & Jerry’s preaches to law enforcement officers…typical leftist hypocrisy.
Do yourself a favor—avoid the heartburn, dysentery, and other illnesses caused by consuming Ben & Jerry’s garbage. You’ll be glad you did.
Editor note: In 2020, we saw a nationwide push to “defund the police”. While we all stood here shaking our heads wondering if these people were serious… they cut billions of dollars in funding for police officers. And as a result, crime has skyrocketed – all while the same politicians who said “you don’t need guns, the government will protect you” continued their attacks on both our police officers and our Second Amendment rights.
And that’s exactly why we’re launching this national crowdfunding campaign as part of our efforts to help “re-fund the police”.
In case you missed it, here’s a previous report we compiled on Has Been and Jerky’s:
The following contains editorial content written by a retired Chief of Police and current staff writer for Law Enforcement Today.
WATERBURY, VT- In April of 2000, Unilever purchased Ben & Jerry’s and with it they got the two over-aged hippies anti-American, anti-police garbage.
The funny part about that purchase was that the two long-haired, maggot infested, (likely) dope-smoking hippies, who railed against that capitalist system, managed to rake in over $325 million in the sale, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Because you know, hypocrisy.
Everyone knows that Ben & Jerry’s has been and currently is down with the revolution, with the roots of the company forged in far-left progressive ideals.
So it was clearly no surprise when Ben & Jerry’s, which despite being under the Unilever umbrella still embraces woke ideology, spoke out against the shooting of criminal Daunte Wright in Minnesota.
Of course, despite zero evidence to support their absurd claim, Wright’s death was “rooted in white supremacy,” they tweeted.
Getting involved in far-left neo-Marxist claptrap is nothing new. For years, they have sung the hysteria about climate change, and of course are on the forefront of LGBTQ issues.
However they have gone far beyond all of that, now calling for the complete dismantling of the American criminal justice system, in particular the police.
“The murder of #DaunteWright is rooted in white supremacy and results from the intentional criminalization of Black and Brown communities. This system can’t be reformed. It must be dismantled and a real system of public safety rebuilt from the ground up. #DefundThePolice.”

Their moronic tween has been liked in excess of 44.5 thousand times, and there are over 13,000 comments on it.
According to Right Scoop:
“Boy the radical socialists are coming out of the woodwork on Daunte Wright’s killing just like they did a year ago with George Floyd, making absolutely absurd claims in order to abolish police and rebuild it with ‘wellness counselors and tow trucks.’ And the sad thing is that there are too many people who’ve bought into this garbage and are applauding Ben & Jerry’s for this asinine statement.
“You know, we may not recognize this country in another decade. It’s already harder to recognize now than it was just over a decade ago.”
In the case of Wright, what social justice warriors like Ben & Jerry’s neglect to mention is that it was Wright who set the wheels in motion for what would ultimately lead to his death.
The irony in this whole situation really cannot be understated. Wright had an arrest warrant out for him for failing to appear in court for having an unregistered handgun. Here’s a picture of the “boy scout” with his favorite toy.
— Noah (@Noah_W_Stewart) April 13, 2021
Just last week, Joe Biden, the current occupant of the White House held a press briefing in which part of what he complained about was a so-called surplus of unregistered guns.
Yet that point has been ignored by far-left media, neo-Marxists like Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and her fellow “squad” members, and former president Barack Obama.
It wasn't an accident. Policing in our country is inherently & intentionally racist.
Daunte Wright was met with aggression & violence. I am done with those who condone government funded murder.
No more policing, incarceration, and militarization. It can't be reformed.
— Rashida Tlaib (@RashidaTlaib) April 12, 2021
At least House Majority Whip James Clyburn gets it:

A black officer (clearly a white supremacist) stopped Wright for a traffic violation and it was learned there was a warrant for his arrest. Here is part of the narrative:
Saint #DaunteWright's armed robbery victim was a woman who had just received $820 in rent from her tenant.
Worse, Wright was partying at her house prior to robbing her. Saint Daunte robbed and choked a woman he knew at gunpoint.
That part of the narrative from his warrant: pic.twitter.com/4U6InGEGP2
— John Cardillo (@johncardillo) April 15, 2021
Right up until the time Wright was to be placed under arrest by said black police officer there was no physical interaction between the officers and Wright. It wasn’t until he was going to be handcuffed and when he started to resist arrest that a physical altercation ensued.
As Wright was struggling with the officers, now former-Officer Kim Potter warned Wright she was going to Taser him, and in fact yelled, “Taser! Taser! Taser! with the belief she was in fact going for her Taser, when in fact she had pulled her firearm. She fired one shot and then realized her mistake, and in fact immediately said, “Oh shit! I shot him!”
There is a legal standard called a “spontaneous (excited) utterance,” which is actually an exception to the exclusionary rule; in other words, evidence gathered as a result of a spontaneous utterance is admissible as an exception to the hearsay rule.
Such an utterance is, according to the Legal Information Institute of Cornell Law School defines as, “…a statement that concerns a startling event, made by the declarant when the declarant is still under stress from the startling event.”
So in other words, Potter, under stress from a high-tension encounter with Wright yelled, “Taser!” three times, a clear indication that she had in fact believed she was pulling her Taser, not her firearm.
This wasn’t a case where she shot Wright, had an “oh shit” moment, and then said she was going for her Taser. This statement was made in the heat of the moment.
Another key is that police officers are trained when using their firearm to use what is referred to as a “double-tap.” In other words, they are shot to fire twice in rapid succession when using their firearm.
As a veteran officer with over 28 years of experience, Potter had been trained repeatedly to use a “double-tap” when firing her weapon. The fact she shot only once seems to indicate that she believed she was shooting her Taser, not her service weapon.
Also, new information has come forth that there was a 2nd warrant for Wright related to allegedly choking and robbing a woman at gunpoint.

In the wake of the George Floyd incident last May, a hue and cry rang out across the country for police officers to be equipped with body cameras, which the officers in Brooklyn Center were wearing.
The question becomes, if body cameras are worn so that we can know the “truth” of what happens in police encounters, why is it that despite the fact Potter clearly thought she was using her Taser, that doesn’t matter.
It’s still “racist cops hunting down black men.” What is the point of mandating body cameras if the truth doesn’t matter?
Look at officer-involved shootings over the past year which were clearly justified. Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin comes to mind, where he was armed with a knife, was shot by police and ended up paralyzed from the waist down.
Blake was portrayed by far-left media as a boy scout, when in reality, he was a sex offender who was subject to a restraining order at the home he was caught at.
The entire episode was caught on video, which clearly showed Blake carrying a knife at one point, yet the media pushed the narrative that he was “an unarmed black man shot by police.”
Of course, once the social media mob got hold of the incident, early Christmas looting started and “largely peaceful protesters” started fires, broke into businesses, and beating people up.
The truth doesn’t matter to these people. They are Marxists intent on destroying our country. And Ben & Jerry’s, being the true Marxist organization that it is, throws down with the revolution.
So, while Ben & Jerry’s demands that police departments be dismantled, they offer no solutions. The CEO of Unilever and whoever the president of Ben & Jerry’s is can likely afford all the private security they want.
Yet they are more than willing to leave low-income and middle-class citizens fend for themselves by removing police, while they enjoy their bodyguards and personal protection.
It’s like Congress. Tlaib can ask for police to be eliminated while she enjoys government-provided protection and gets to hide in the Capitol building behind Jersey barriers, 8-foot fences topped by concertina wire, and National Guard troops restricting access. “Security for me, you peons can go screw yourselves.”
Ben & Jerry’s fails to realize that when you have human beings making sometimes split-second decisions, sometimes mistakes will be made. It is human nature. Would they rather have a cyborg like in Robocop that responds only as it is programmed to do? With no ability to reason? Use discretion?
Whenever human beings are put in the position of being police officers, mistakes can be made, sometimes tragic mistakes with fatal results. Yet despite screams from the left of systemic racism, the facts and data simply do not back that narrative up.
Ben & Jerry’s absurd, brain-dead tweet did gain some attention that they were probably not looking for.
Former MLB star Aubrey Huff made a great point, noting the hypocrisy of a company whose product contributes to diabetes and heart disease, much of which impacts people of color.
“You murder countless thousands a year @benandjerrys with diabetes, & heart disease.”

Ironically, diabetes and heart disease, caused in part by eating Ben & Jerry’s sugar-laden, high fat garbage product is responsible for killing hundreds of times more black Americans than police officers. Perhaps the two hippies and their minions should look in the mirror.
Think it’s time for the over 800,000 law enforcement officers, along with their families, friends and supporters to tell Woke & Jerry’s to stick their ice cream where the sun doesn’t shine.
