RUSSIA-UKRAINE BORDER- While much attention has been directed toward Beijing and what Xi Jinping are up to, Vladimir Putin has been doing some flexing of his own, and it wasn’t in the gym. Clearly recognizing the weakness of the current occupant of the Oval Office, both Xi and Putin have been sounding the drums of war.

In Europe, for example, Putin has placed what is called a “massive” number of troops at multiple points along Russia’s border with Ukraine, with the American intelligence community predicting a January invasion of the former Soviet state, The Western Journal reports.

Biden is scheduled for a Tuesday video conference with Putin, where the military buildup is expected to be discussed. One would have to be naïve however to believe that Putin is in any way concerned about anything Biden has to say.

According to an intelligence document reviewed by the Washington Post, Russia has positioned some 175,000 troops poised for what is called a “swift and decisive invasion” of Ukraine.

“The Russian plans call of a military offensive against Ukraine as soon as early 2022 with a scale of forces twice what we saw this past spring during Russia’s snap exercise near Ukraine’s borders,” according to whom the Post referred to as “an administration official, speaking on the condition of anonymity” as saying.

“The plans involve extensive movement of 100 battalion tactical groups with an estimated 175,000 personnel, along with armor, artillery, and equipment,” the official said.

Sources say the proposed force to be deployed by Putin is larger than the Allied forces which struck France on D-Day in World War II, where some 156,000 US and Allied forces struck the beaches at Normandy in June, 1944 which began the liberation of France from Nazi forces.

According to the unclassified intelligence document, it indicates four areas where Russian forces are poised to strike, according to the Post. Currently, some fifty battlefield tactical groups have been deployed, with tanks and artillery continuing to arrive.

The intelligence assessment indicates the Russian strength currently stands at 70,000 troops, while Russia, well aware their moves are being monitored are attempting to “cloak” troop movements in an effort “to obfuscate intentions and create uncertainty,” the Post said.

Satellite imagery “show[s] newly arrived units at various locations along the Ukrainian border over the last month,” the official quoted by the Post said.

The intelligence document shows that Russian forces are in the process of gathering supplies in order for any invasion, should one occur, to move quickly.

“Equipment may be left behind at different training ranges to enable a rapid, final buildup,” the document read, according to the Post.

According to a Ukrainian official quoted by the paper, they said Russia has been rehearsing its invasion.

“The Russian troops worked out the issues of creating strike groups near the borders of our state, mobilization measures, logistical support of groups, [and] transfer of significant military contingents, including by air,” the official said.

It appears, the Post noted that the Russian strategy appears to be intended to force Ukraine to surrender quickly.

According to the U.S. official quoted by the paper, Russia is preparing to lay the blame on Ukraine and NATO for any upcoming war.

“Additionally, in the past month, our information indicates Russian influence proxies and media outlets have started to increase content denigrating Ukraine and NATO, in part to pin the blame for a potential Russian military escalation on Ukraine,” the official said.

“Recent information also indicates that Russian officials proposed adjusting Russia’s information operations against Ukraine to emphasize the narrative that Ukrainian leaders had been installed by the west, harbored a hatred for the ‘Russian world,’ and were acting against the interests of the Ukrainian people,” the official continued.

Last week, feckless US Secretary of State Antony Blinken spent much of the week raising alarm bells about Putin, the Post wrote.

“We don’t know whether President Putin has made the decision to invade. We do know that he is putting in place the capacity to do so on short order should he so decide,” Blinken said last Wednesday prior to his meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, the Post reported.

“We must prepare for all contingencies.”

Wow! Tough words…that should dissuade Putin.

As predicted, Lavrov spoke out prior to meeting Blinken and blamed the U.S. and NATO for the current situation.

“The alliance’s military infrastructure is being irresponsibly brought closer to Russia’s borders in Romania and Poland, deploying an anti-missile defense system that can be used as a strike complex,” Lavrov said, the Times of London reported. “American medium-range missiles are about to appear in Europe, bringing back the nightmare scenario of a military confrontation,” Lavrov said.

Putin has repeatedly insisted that Ukraine not be allowed into NATO, while also repeating that Western military activities pose a threat to Russia.

According to the Washington Post, Putin said Russia requires “precise legal, judicial guarantees because our Western colleagues have failed to deliver on verbal commitments they made,” in a statement last week.

White House propagandist Jen Psaki sounded a tough tone when when she said it was up to NATO to decide who is and isn’t a member of that body. She said Biden would (allegedly) take that stance during his video conference with the Russian strongman Tuesday.

She said Biden “will underscore U.S. concerns with Russian military activities on the border with Ukraine and reaffirm the United States’ support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine,” according to the New York Times.

Biden claimed last Friday, as he was ready to take his usual three-day weekend away from the White House, that he would try to convince Putin not to take aggressive action, Fox News said.

“What I am doing is putting together what I believe to be, will be, the most comprehensive and meaningful set of initiatives to make it very difficult for Mr. Putin to go ahead and do what people are worried he may do,” Biden said.

It’s unknown if Biden threatened to pull a “Corn Pop” on Putin if he didn’t obey.

Konstantin Kosachev, deputy speaker of Russia’s legislature said Russia has no plans to attack Ukraine, but maintains the right to protect itself.

“We have no plans to attack Ukraine,” he said. “We have no heightened military activity at the Ukrainian borders. There is no preparation for an offensive operation.”

He repeated the notion that any instigating was coming not from Russia but from Ukraine.

“This scenario is quite probable and quite predictable and we are ready for it,” he said, as reported in the Daily Mail.

In 2014 when Obama was president, Russia invaded Ukraine and seized Crimea, suffering no consequences despite Obama’s saber rattling. Russia claims Ukraine as part of it’s “sphere of influence,” although the nation declared its independence in 1991 after the dissolution of the Soviet Union.

After World War I, Ukraine attempted to declare its independence, however, was defeated by the Soviet Union. During the 1930s, the nation was hit by a famine and under the policies of Soviet dictator and hero of the American left Josef Stalin, Ukrainian grain was sent to feed Soviets even as millions of Ukrainians perished from hunger.

As all of this goes on, the US has a weak, cognitively declining puppet of the far-left in the White House. The wrong man at the wrong time in our history.

Earlier this year, Biden signaled to Putin and the Russians what US infrastructure components were “off limits” for cyber attack, basically telling Russia where we were vulnerable. For more on that, we invite you to:

The following contains editorial content written by a retired Chief of Police and current staff writer for Law Enforcement Today.

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND- This guy is clueless. Reports are that during Biden’s summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin this week, he gave the Russian president a list of 16 critical infrastructure components that are “off limits” to a Russian cyberattack.

Call us stupid, but shouldn’t that “list” have included EVERYTHING?

Fox Business tells us that the entities identified by Clueless Joe included energy, water, health care, emergency, chemical, nuclear, communications, government, defense, food, commercial facilities, IT, transportation, dams, manufacturing and financial services.

Biden’s “directive” came after Russian cyberhackers took down the Colonial Pipeline last month, leading to a crippling shortage of gasoline in the southeast and mid-Atlantic regions of the United States.

“We’ll find out whether we have a cybersecurity arrangement that begins to bring some order,” Biden said.

Putin however has denied any involvement by the Russian government in the recent onslaught of cyberattacks that have hit major industries across the U.S.

“Certain critical infrastructures should be off-limits to attack, period, by cyber or any other means,” Biden said.

“I gave them a list, 16 specific entities defined as critical infrastructure under U.S. policy, from the energy sector to water systems.”

Hey Joe…not for nothing, but isn’t EVERYTHING critical infrastructure? Why on Earth would you provide a “list.” It should have been, “any cyberattack facilitated by a foreign state will be treated as an act of war and will be responded to in kind.” Once again, Biden leading from a position of weakness, leading from behind.

Biden continued, “So we agreed to task experts in both our countries to work on specific understandings about what’s off-limits and to follow up on specific cases that originate in other countries and in either of our countries.”

Biden also asked Putin about the cyberattack on the Colonial Pipeline.

“When I talked about the pipeline that was hit with ransomware in the United States, I looked at him and I said, ‘How would you feel if ransomware too the pipelines from your oil fields?’”

Putin responded that “it would matter.”

Biden hinted at a “governmental response” if there were any cyberattacks on any of the critical infrastructure components listed. That response is expected to include blasting a recording of Nancy Pelosi on a loop babbling on incoherently about nothing in particular.

Some questioned why Biden and Putin didn’t hold a joint news conference. Fox News contributor Joe Concha of The Hill had some ideas:

One interesting incident that happened on Wednesday was when stodgy, angry Joe went off on of all people a DNC-run media CNN reporter who asked  a rather innocuous question.

During the exchange, an extremely testy Biden went off on CNN’s Kaitlan Collins for asking Biden a question about Putin:

“Why are you so confident [Putin] is going to change his behavior, Mr. President?” Collins asked.

Biden then turned around and snapped at Collins.

“I’m not confident I’m going to change his behavior. What the hell? What do you do all the time? When did I say I was confident? I said, I said, what I said was, let’s get it straight, I said  what will change their behavior is the [unintelligible] world reacts to their behavior that diminishes their standing. I’m not confident of anything, I’m just stating the facts.”

There was apparently not a translator available to decipher what Biden just said.

Collins, however persisted, asking, “But given his past behavior has not changed, and in that press conference after sitting down with you for several hours, he denied any involvement in cyber-attacks, he downplayed human rights abuses, he even refused to say Alexei Navalny’s name, so how does that account to a constructive meeting as President Putin…”

At which point Biden cut her off, saying, “If you don’t understand that, you’re in the wrong business.”

He then left in a huff.

Later, after probably being told to by his handlers, Biden issued an “apology” of sorts:

Just saying.

The apparent coldness between Putin and Biden is a change from what Putin had said last October, when he noted (to the surprise of nobody with eyes) that Democrats and Soviet communism had a lot in common. Shocker.

MOSCOW, RUSSIA – Russian President Vladimir Putin says he is optimistic that he could get along well with a Democrat-run White House, if former vice president and current candidate Joe Biden wins the presidential race.

The leader of the Kremlin marked his 68th birthday on Wednesday, October 7th, with a TV broadcast during which he stated that he could work with a Biden administration, and pointed to common ground between Democrats and Soviet Communism.

Bloomberg News reported on Putin’s remarks, saying that he had praised President Trump for improving relations between the United States and Russia.

The media outlet reported that Putin also said he was prepared to work with Biden, should he take office next year. He cited the politician’s support for new arms-reduction treaties like the Obama administration’s failed New START program.

According to the Republican Policy Committee, the arms control treaty required the U.S. and Russia to:

“bring their strategic arms within the treaty central limits of 1,550 warheads and 700 deployed nuclear delivery vehicles.”

The treaty advanced through the Senate after President Obama committed to American nuclear modernization. He promised to provide enough money to back up that promise.

After New START was ratified, the RPC said, Obama went back on his word and failed to come up with the promised money in the 2013 budget.

In a press release from 2012, the committee wrote:

“The president’s FY 2013 budget request is very clear about its broken promises on nuclear modernization.  As to top-line numbers, the president underfunds his own plan by more than $4 billion over the next five years. This $4 billion is essentially the same amount he added to the plan one month prior to ratification of New START.”

They say that Obama’s failure was a detriment to national security and a win for enemy nations.

In his comments Wednesday, Putin acknowledged that the treaty is set to expire in February.

The leader has proven that he is heavily involved in arming his country, even celebrating his birthday with a test launch of the Zircon hypersonic missile. The missile, reported to be Putin’s weapon of choice to wipe out the United States, was launched Wednesday from the guided missile frigate Admiral Gorshkov in the White Sea.

He has bragged about developing a new generation of weapons as the New START treaty comes to a close, and as a less military-minded candidate makes a run for the Oval Office.

Bloomberg quoted Putin as saying a bipartisan consensus in the U.S. on the need to contain Russia had meant:

“the intentions that President Trump spoke about earlier have not been fully realized.”

The outlet said that the Trump administration has imposed or expanded sanctions on Russia 46 times. That is more than any other previous administration.

During his Wednesday interview, the Russian leader said that the values of the American Democratic party align with the Soviet Communist Party. He said that the Soviet’s long-time connections to the U.S. black community further strengthens the party’s ties to Democrats.

Putin explained:

“Equality, brotherhood, what’s wrong with that? There is some kind of ideological basis for establishing contacts with a representative of the Democratic Party.”

On top of praising his own ability to work with a Biden administration, Putin also mocked claims that his country has meddled in U.S. elections. He called the allegations “completely unfounded.”

The comments come one week after the declassification of intelligence that suggests Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign played dirty in the 2016 elections.

The information hinted that her campaign team created a plan in July 2016 to frame then-candidate and now-President Donald Trump for Russian hacking.

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1313640512025513984

A letter to Sen. Lindsey Graham, chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, reads:

“In late July 2016, U.S. intelligence agencies obtained insight into Russian intelligence analysis alleging that U.S. Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton had approved a campaign plan to stir up a scandal against U.S. Presidential candidate Donald Trump by tying him to Putin and the Russians’ hacking of the Democratic National Committee.”

Law Enforcement Today has continued to investigate in the week since that dramatic document drop. You can read that newly released investigative report here.

The following editorial on just who is favored more by Russia was written by a retired police officer and current staff writer for Law Enforcement Today:

WASHINGTON, DC – Can we all just agree that John Brennan is a scumbag? Breitbart News is reporting that Paul Sperry of RealClearInvestigations has found that Brennan edited intelligence assessments which showed that Russia and President Vladimir Putin in fact favored Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election.

According to the report, Brennan took it upon himself to edit a crucial section of the intelligence report addressing Russian interference in the 2016 election. Sperry said that Brennan had assigned a political ally to take a key role in writing the section in question.

Apparently Brennan’s assertion that Putin had intervened in the election in order to help President Trump was disputed by career analysts in the department. That information was provided by two senior U.S. Intelligence officials who saw classified materials which detailed Brennan’s role in drafting the document.

In fact, according to the investigation, the Obama Administration released a declassified version of the report —known as the “Intelligence Community Assessment on Russian Activities and Intentions in Recent Elections (ICA)” —  only two weeks before President Trump took office. This served to create suspicion over the Trump presidency.

According to the investigation:

“RealClearInvestigations has learned that one of the CIA operatives who helped Brennan draft the ICA, Andrea Kendall-Taylor, financially supported Hillary Clinton during the campaign, and is a close colleague of Eric Ciaramella, who was identified last year by RCI as the Democratic national security “whistleblower” whose complaint led to Trump’s impeachment, ending in the Senate acquittal in January.”

The investigation continued that Brennan, who was an open supporter of Clinton, had excluded from the report  conflicting evidence about Putin’s motives, this despite some intelligence analysts objecting to the allegations that Putin had supported Trump, when in fact he had counted on Clinton winning the election.

Sperry said that U.S. Attorney John Durham is using the ICA report as a basis for his investigation into the Obama Administration’s investigation into the Trump campaign under the bogus Russia collusion narrative, which has been proven not to exist.

Sperry also noted that House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff had locked the so-called intelligence that served as a basis “in a Capitol basement safe.” That “intelligence” was used as a basis for the ICA subsequently used for the bogus impeachment inquiry.

Sperry’s report can be found here.

Earlier this year, Fox News published similar reports to Sperry’s investigation.

In May, former Fox News reporter Ed Henry told Tucker Carlson that Brennan “had intel saying, actually, Russia wanted Hillary Clinton to win because she was a known quantity, she had been secretary of state, and Vladimir Putin’s team thought she was more malleable, while candidate Donald Trump was unpredictable.”

Henry’s reporting at the time backed up an op-ed written the previous month by a former CIA officer, Fred Fleitz, in which he said that House Intelligence Committee members told him that Brennan had “suppressed facts or analysis that showed why it was not in Russia’s interests to support Trump and why Putin stood to benefit from Hillary Clinton’s election.”

Fleitz, who was also formerly the National Security Council’s chief of staff, also said that the members had told him that “Brennan suppressed that intelligence over the objections of CIA analysts.”

The whole “Russia collusion” hoax never made sense, since Clinton had basically been an open vessel where Russia was concerned while serving as Secretary of State, giving Russia pretty much everything they wanted.

In 2017, Breitbart News reported: “The Russians may just as well have preferred Hillary Clinton, who had given Russia everything it wanted while serving as President Barack Obama’s Secretary of State — from the ill-fated “reset,” to a surrender of U.S. Missile defenses in Eastern Europe, to the sale of 20% of America’s uranium reserves to a Russian company closely tied to the Russian state.”

Unfortunately, Durham has interviewed Brennan for his report, although not as a target of the investigation, which is a shame.

Editor note: In 2020, we saw a nationwide push to “defund the police”.  While we all stood here shaking our heads wondering if these people were serious… they cut billions of dollars in funding for police officers.  And as a result, crime has skyrocketed – all while the same politicians who said “you don’t need guns, the government will protect you” continued their attacks on both our police officers and our Second Amendment rights.

And that’s exactly why we’re launching this national crowdfunding campaign as part of our efforts to help “re-fund the police”.
